Chris is a dedicated dental assistant at City View Dental, bringing a passion for dental care and a commitment to patient well-being to our practice. A recent graduate of the Dental Assistant Education Center (DAEC) Class of 2023. Chris's dedication to the field was evident from the beginning, as all of their clinical hours were completed right here at City View Dental. This hands-on experience has allowed Chris to become intimately familiar with our practice and our patients, ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for everyone who walks through our doors.

Chris’s dream career lies in a unique and fascinating niche – to become a fangsmith. This aspiration reflects Chris's creativity and flair for the extraordinary, a quality that makes him a valuable member of our team.

Outside of the dental world, Chris enjoys spending his spare time playing video games, enjoying his two cats who serve as a source of endless amusement. Chris is also passionate about soccer, whether it's playing with friends or cheering for his favorite team.

Alex brings a refreshing perspective and a wealth of customer care experience to our team at City View Dental. As a dental assistant, she seamlessly combines her passion for serving others with her commitment to making every patient's dental experience exceptional.

Alex's journey into the dental field is marked by a dedication to providing top-notch customer care. What sets Alex apart is her innate ability to put people at ease. Whether it's a warm smile upon arrival or a reassuring word during a procedure, she excels in making patients feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit.

Alex's transition into the world of dentistry demonstrates her adaptability and commitment to continuous growth. She has embraced her role as a dental assistant with enthusiasm and a genuine desire to assist our patients in achieving their best oral health.

Beyond the dental office, Alex and her wife, enjoy rollerblading and date nights.

Colleen's journey into the world of dental hygiene is a unique one. She initially pursued a bachelor's degree in Marketing from Bellevue University, showcasing her diverse interests. However, her passion for dental health eventually led her to embark on a fulfilling career in dental hygiene. In 2006, she graduated from Iowa Western Community College, setting her on the path to making a positive impact on countless smiles.

Before joining the City View Dental team, Colleen served as a faculty member at Iowa Western Community College's Dental Hygiene program. Colleen's enthusiasm for oral health and her genuine care for her patients make her an invaluable member of the City View Dental team. When you visit our practice, you can trust that Colleen will provide you with exceptional dental care and a friendly smile that brightens your day.

Outside the dental office, Colleen enjoys activities like running, reading, and baking. Colleen, originally hailing from Omaha, Nebraska, now proudly calls Council Bluffs, Iowa home. She shares her life with her loving husband, three wonderful children, and two adorable Maltipoos who bring boundless joy to her household.

Tashia brings a wealth of experience and a warm, welcoming demeanor to her role as the Patient Service Manager at City View Dental. With a passion for delivering exceptional patient care, Tashia's journey in the dental field began as a receptionist, where she quickly demonstrated her organizational skills, attention to detail, and her ability to make every patient feel at ease from the moment they walk through our doors. Her dedication to enhancing the patient experience led her to step into the role of Patient Service Manager, where she oversees the day-to-day operations of our front desk.

She takes pride in working closely with our dental professionals to coordinate appointments, address inquiries, and create an environment where patients feel like valued members of our dental family.

When Tashia isn't busy making City View Dental a place where smiles begin, she enjoys spending time with family, traveling, camping and cooking.

Elisha was born and raised in Bellevue, NE, and earned her Dental Hygiene degree at Iowa Western Community College. Elisha has a passion for prevention!

She makes it a priority to explain the details of your oral health and to give a better understanding of the individualized treatment that each patient needs.

She has had the privilege to work with homeless shelters and low-income communities, catering to their oral needs.

Elisha observed many people from her personal life that did not enjoy the “dental atmosphere” and has made it her personal goal to make everyone feel comfortable and relaxed, making it a positive experience.

In her free time, Elisha enjoys spending time with family and friends, and most of all, spoiling her Golden Retriever Millie.

She enjoys staying active and working out at the gym. Elisha is always up for new experiences especially if it involves sunshine and a beach!

Taylor is the dedicated and knowledgeable office manager at City View Dental, bringing a strong educational background and a passion for dental care to our team. With a solid science-based education from Iowa Western and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Taylor's journey into the world of dentistry has been marked by a commitment to excellence.

In 2015, Taylor embarked on a fulfilling career path, following her long-time interest in dentistry by becoming a dental assistant alongside Dr. Schrad. Since then, Taylor has worn many hats here at City View Dental. Her diverse skill set and deep understanding of the dental field make her an invaluable asset to both our team and our patients.

Outside of her professional life, Taylor has a passion for cooking. She's also a fan of live music. Taylor's heart belongs to her family, friends, and her two adorable Min-Pins, who bring endless joy to her life.
